I made this tween after the Police Report had been released. There is a conflict between mirror blind spot, and car on the left. If the car(s) passing on left-delayed the turn, the mirror should not have been an issue. Not even the distraction of the vehicles should be an issue, they were in the same visual direction as the pedestrians.
If the original bus-path-tween.... WAS the true path, with pause to let cars pass... YES... the mirror would have been a problem.
The tie breaker? Given the location of pedestrians found under the bus, and given the accuracy of their places upon impact, NO WAY! is the mirror having any influence on this accident.
Sorry if this upsets some, but you explain it to me... tell me how you can have the mirror creating a blind spot, and the pedestrians to have been in those locations upon impact???
I've been doing other things, haven't given this much thought (draining at times). I come back, take a look... this was the first thing that stood out.
I don't mean to beat this event to 'death', but you CAN'T be in the dark about things when administrative reactions tend to create laws, policies, rules, regulations... solely based on such catastrophic events.
